Alejandro Reyes Global Chief People and Transformation Officer, Author, Advisor
Alejandro Reyes is the Head of the People and Transformation Practice at Cintana Education. In that role, he works to ensure the readiness of the talent, culture, and organizational infrastructure for Cintana, and to support Cintana’s Alliance Institutions to be more successful, effective and differentiated.
He is also a Human Resources Venture Advisor for Semper Virens Private Equity providing advice on Health Care Tech, and Workforce Tech portfolios. Alejandro is a transformational Human Resources Executive with 30 years of experience in senior global roles in the areas of Human Capital Planning, M&A stabilization, Organization Development, Executive Talent Management, Change Management, Talent Acquisition, Culture and Diversity. Mr. Reyes is known for his track record of innovation, strong operational capability and substantial experience on transformation and change management in complex organizational environments.
Alejandro has worked in iconic companies during times of significant change, including Dell Technologies, Motorola, Laureate Education, and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, where he worked as Chief People Officer for five and a half years. He is author of the book Leading Organizational Transformation (Palgrave McMillan), to be published in the summer of 2025. He holds a bachelor’s degree on Industrial Engineering from Metropolitan University in Mexico City, and a master’s in science with a major in Robotics and Automation from Monterrey Institute of Technology.
He is author of several articles on quality in education, the book “Quality Models and Techniques for the Classroom” (Trillas) and delivery models for alternative technologies for education (Inter-American Development Bank). Certified Diversity Executive by the Institute of Diversity Certification. Raised and born in Mexico City, Mr. Reyes lives in the US since Jan 2000.
